After a successful introduction of the ‘Storbju Noise Monger’, this new noise device / mini drone is now available in kit format for the affordable price of €25.
Back on the 10th of December, we helped assemble a humble amount of people who participated in a workshop that took place at Spazju Kreattiv in Valletta – and online.
Together with the participants, we each assembled this Schmitt-trigger circuits based instrument which can produce screechy spacey drones, wild glitches, self modulating atmospheres and lots of other sounds. Used as a standalone drone generator, it’s capable of producing some fairly dense textures.
Using it with an envelope generator and a VCA will grant you a source of nice, clashy percussion sounds.
