Get Played and Get Paid | “Hold On” (Track Deconstruction)
In the first part of this workshop, Steve Vassallo from PRS will explain how Music Recognition Technology will be working. Thanks to this technology many more dance music creators will receive royalties from performances of their music played by DJs in nightclubs, as PRS for Music and PPL expand their distribution policies to include data generated from music recognition technology, in turn improving the accuracy of royalty distributions.
In the second part, dance music producers ‘Insync Collective’ will deconstruct their track “Hold On” on Ableton.
