Jamie Barbara aka Naqara is a Maltese sound artist, composer and electronic musician experimenting with different methods and media.

Jamie setup in the Jamming and Performances Area, his performance took those present through a mixture of breakbeats, acid basslines and sounds reminiscent of the earliest Aphex twin masterpieces. His setup consisted of a mix of DAW programmed loops alongside live drumming from an analogue drum machine, and live sequencing from analogue synthesizers. Visitors to the event could meet and network with Jamie who was in an ‘Artist at Work’ setup.
