Circuits Non-Stop will be a 5+ hour long summit that brings together performers, music professionals, and sound engineers to the Spazju Kreattiv for in-depth experiences of learning, playing, and performing.
Educational workshops by Italian Ableton-Certified Trainer Edo Pietro Grande delivering an Ableton-Live production masterclass; Maltese electronic music pioneer, Edwin Balzan on operating hardware synthesizers and drum machines; whilst sound engineer and acoustics consultant Mark Agius, talks about the prevention of common issues that contaminate the audio signal chain.
The event also features a public performance and jamming area manned by Mike Desira and Frank Cachia with live performances by Jamie Barbara and Darren Borg there. There will also be an audiologist, Dr Andrew Sciberras, who will be giving free ear screening sessions to those attending to this event.
We conclude with the premiere of Music for Ordinary Life Machines, a documentary film that explores the Minimal Synth and Synthpunk scene in Greece since the 80’s.
